Vardavar is a mid-summer Armenian holiday that dates back to pre-Christian traditions. Today, Vardavar is celebrated by throwing water on... anybody you see! All day long, kids and adults participate in the fun, followed by a feast of grilled pork ("khorovats"), roasted vegetables, and plenty of toasting and merry-making.

Members of Friends Of Armenia host regional Vardavar celebrations as a way of honoring Armenian culture and strengthening our FOA community...
